Our hearty flock of 19 hens and two roosters has survived the cold of January and the hens are now starting to lay again. They miss the open ground where they forage for insets and anything green. To offset the limitations of snow-covered ground, they get treated to buckets of weeds from the high tunnel where the chard and kale are competing with their undesirable neighbors!

As the days get longer, the egg production will increase. Stop by or call to see if we have any eggs available for sale.
